Starting the day with a hearty breakfast at the villa, we embarked on an exploration of the mesmerizing Kelingking Beach. Known for its striking cliffs and awe-inspiring turquoise waters, this beach offers an unparalleled view that mimics paradise on Earth. The Paluang Cliff nearby provides an alternative angle to the same mesmerizing view. Adding to the charm of Penida is Atuh Beach with its rock arches and coral beauty. Wrapping up the day, the Thousand Island Viewpoint and Diamond Beach left us in awe of the untouched beauty that Bali has to offer.
Day six had us diving into water sports and later delving into the beauty of Pandawa Beach, set in a dramatic white stone cliff backdrop. Our spiritual side was awakened at the cliff temple of Pura Uluwatu, which held tales of ancient Hindu legends. The day's experience was further enriched by the captivating Kecak and Fire Dance, concluding with a romantic seafood dinner at Jimbaran Bay.
This day was all about relaxing and soaking in the vibes of Bali. Whether it was lounging by the beach, clubbing, or simply enjoying the hotel's amenities, it was a well-deserved break.
Day eight was brimming with cultural and scenic attractions. From the UNESCO heritage site of Taman Ayun Temple to the serene Ulun Danu Bratan Temple, the journey was spiritual. The Bali Handara Gate and Wanagiri Hidden Hill gave ample opportunities for perfect photographs. The day culminated at Tanah Lot Temple, a magnificent sight by the sea.
Starting off with the grand Besakih Temple, we delved into Bali's spiritual roots. The "Gate of Heaven" at Lempuyang Temple offered heavenly views, followed by a visit to the tranquil water palaces of Tirta Gangga and Taman Ujung Sukasada. The day ended with the pristine beauty of Virgin Beach.
The tenth day was dedicated to nature and wildlife. At the Bali Safari & Marine Park, we got up close with diverse species, including the majestic Komodo Dragon and playful orangutans. The day was filled with thrilling experiences, be it feeding piranhas or cooling off at the Water Park.
With heavy hearts and bags full of memories, we checked out from our Bali retreat. As we headed to Denpasar International Airport, the promise of returning to this paradise lingered in our hearts.
